The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Jeddah serves as a tertiary referral centre for all obstetrics and gynecological high risk cases and provide the highest achievable standard of obstetric and gynecological care to women in the Western, and Northern regions of Saudi Arabia.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will promote women’s health in the Western, Southern, and Northern Regions of Saudi Arabia through the highest standard in patient’s care, including subspecialty services through promotion of public education, physician training, and medical research.

The department envisions that it will be the referral centre of Oncology, Uro-Gynecology, high risk pregnancy, and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
