Mission

The mission of the Department of Medicine is twofold.  Firstly, it is to provide state-of-the-art, evidence based and cost effective care to our patients, in accordance with the highest humane and ethical standards, in the field of Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. Secondly, our mission is to provide quality training to interns, residents and fellows in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties, and conduct clinical and basic research.

Our vision is to become one of the premier international centres of excellence in Internal Medicine and its subspecialities, and to be the leading centre in the region for training and research.
