The Department of Anaesthesiology performs a very important and vital function within the Hospital to patients, who undergo various types of surgical procedures.

The Department functions according to the guidelines of highly recognized international bodies and uses the most recent technology available to provide the safest practice in anaesthesia and pain management.

The Department professional team includes eight consultant anaesthesiologists and eight assistant anaesthesiologists.  The anaesthesiologists are selected for their high qualifications, experience, skill, and dedication in delivering their craft.  Hence, our physicians are able to provide the best service possible to all branches and facets of different surgical sub-specialties.  These include open-heart surgery, neonatology, paediatrics, neurosurgery, ENT, general surgery and obstetrics/gynaecology.
