Appointments & Admissions Office Our Mission The mission of the Appointments & Admissions office is to provide optimum services for all outpatient and inpatient admissions and transfers by ensuring excellent public relations between patients and our staff. Working Hours Appointments & Admissions staff are available 24 hours a day during week days; i.e., Saturday until Wednesday.  On weekends (Thursday and Friday) the hours are from 8.00 a.m. until 8.00 p.m. Admission officers can be contacted during working hours on the following numbers:

Primary Responsibilities
4      Registering patients and opening files (regular admissions and newborns) 4      Acting as bed-board coordinators for patient admissions, discharges and transfers 4      Coordinating with referring agencies 4      Assigning patient rooms in coordination with treating physician and nurses 4      Setting up future admission appointments 4      Interviewing patients 4      Providing all statistical information requested 4      Verifying and confirming patient eligibility for treatment 4      Updating computer data regarding demographic information, admission, transfer and discharge
Admission Information
When being admitted into the hospital, please bring with you the following items:
4      Personal Identification 4      Insurance card or insurance documentation 4      Medication you are currently taking 4      Any future appointment slips
Please call 24 hours before the admission appointment to confirm bed availability.
Hospital Policies
4      Smoking is prohibited in the hospital. 4      Sitters should be in good health and should not be less than 18 years old. 4      Sitters are not allowed in double rooms. 4      Sitters must leave the room whenever his/her patient is transferred to the intensive care unit. 4      Pregnant women are not accepted as sitters. 4      Food and drinks are prohibited inside patient wards. 4      Children are not allowed to enter patient rooms, except in the Ob/Gyne area, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. 4      Mobile phones should be switched off at all times inside the hospital. 4      The Hospital does not take responsibility for personal property and valuables that you keep with you.
