The Department of Community Relations Program in collaboration with Social Services Department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (Gen. Org) -Jeddah Branch successfully organized a passionate visit to the Pediatric Oncology Patients.
On Thursday 11th Feb, 10 at 11:00 am, Pediatric Oncology patients were surprised with a visit from volunteer members of Quran Club.
The volunteers’ aim was to draw smiles on the patients’ faces and provide some gifts and handicrafts.
Mr. Abdulaziz al-Suhaibani, Public Relations Representative, welcomed the group and gave the some general information about the hospital on the way to the patients rooms.
Mrs. Nojoud Al-Akkad from social services greeted the group and gave them some instructions about policies of the hospital before they started the visit of the patients.
Patients and their relatives were so happy and thankful for this visit.
Mr. Najeeb Yamani, Director of Community Relations would like to express his sincere thanks & appreciation to the members of volunteers and to the department of Oncology and Social Services as well for their cooperation.
